Throughout my life, I’ve enjoyed being a member of organizations whose work I believe in. Membership has always felt like more than simply making a donation. It has made me feel part of a community of people coming together to say, this work matters, and we want to help it continue.
That is how we want supporters of the Western Flyer Foundation to feel. Your generosity makes our work possible, and we want you to feel genuinely connected to the impact you help create.
So today, we’re excited to launch our new membership program.
Anyone who gives $100 or more annually becomes a member of the Western Flyer Foundation. Membership begins at $100 per year (less than $10/month), with four levels: Keel, Galley, Wheelhouse, y Captain’s Quarters. And if you’ve already given $100 or more in 2026, you’re already part of the crew—you’re automatically a member, and we’ll be in touch soon with more information.
Depending on your membership level, benefits include:
- Quarterly insider updates about the impact of your support
- Invitations to members-only events, including our annual private Western Flyer celebration
- Early registration and member pricing for ticketed programs
- A Western Flyer window decal and sticker
- At higher levels: an annual virtual briefing with Foundation leadership, a special annual gift, and a personal invitation to experience our work firsthand
More than anything, membership is a way to bring together the people who believe in the Western Flyer and its continuing mission. Your support helps us care for this legendary vessel and provide free, hands-on educational experiences for students throughout Monterey Bay and beyond.
