The exclusive premiere of an original work by ®EMMY Award-Winning Composer John Wineglass, Pastures of Heaven is a musical homage to the enduring spirit and vitality of California. Influenced and inspired by the work of John Steinbeck, Pastures of Heaven will take the audience on an American journey through time and space, with seven musical movements giving voice to the resilience within—and immense diversity of— the California West.

Performed by Ensemble Monterey Chamber Orchestra (John Anderson, Conductor), Cantiamo! Cabrillo, and the Cabrillo Youth Chorus (Cheryl Anderson, Conductor).
